North Melbourne and Alastair Clarkson have parted ways after four seasons together, even with one year remaining on his deal.

Clarkson returned to Arden Street ahead of 2023, and coached the club on 82 occasions for 20 wins.

Surprisingly, the Kangaroos rose from consecutive three-win seasons to nine this year, and were closing in on a Wildcard Round slot, but fell short.

Here are 13 names who could be a part of the North Melbourne conversation...

Interestingly, a lot of these names were part of the Carlton and Essendon coaching process.

Corey Enright

The St Kilda assistant was among those deemed close for the Carlton role, but when interim Josh Fraser kept winning, it was hard to pass up.

Enright made a name for himself as a dominant defender, claiming six All-Australian blazers.

But he's beginning to make waves in the coaches' box as well.

Enright, after hanging up the boots, immediately joined the Cats' coaching staff, starting as a development coach before becoming an assistant.

Ahead of 2022, to further his development, Enright joined St Kilda as an assistant, learning under Ross Lyon.

After missing out on the Carlton job, Enright is believed to be assessing his options away from the Saints.

He met with Collingwood last month.
