Brisbane has announced its plans for four separate players on its roster starting with Luke Beecken and Darragh Joyce being delisted.
The Lions have not re-signed Luke Lloyd and Koby Evans, but they have committed to selecting the pair in the upcoming rookie draft in November.
Brisbane general manager of football Danny Daly explained the club's decision to cut Joyce and Beecken.
"Darragh and Luke have both made a valuable contribution to the Brisbane Lions and have been highly regarded teammates during their time at the club," Daly said.
"Darragh's experience, resilience, and willingness to put the team first have been greatly appreciated, while Luke has shown strong development and application throughout his time in our program.
"We thank them both for their tireless effort and commitment to the club and wish Darragh, Luke and their families all the best for the future."

Irish defender Joyce joined the Lions during the supplementary signing period prior to the 2023 season and played 14 games for the club.
Joyce had previously spent six years on St Kilda's list, playing 13 games.
Beecken made his debut - and only AFL match - for Brisbane in 2025 after being taken with Pick 17 in the 2024 Mid-Season Rookie Draft.
Evans made headlines this season after he was suspended for four games for using a homophobic slur in a VFL match.
Lloyd is a key defender who is yet to debut at AFL level after being drafted out of Talent League side Sandringham with Pick 42 in 2023.
