The 2025 VFL season will be played between Friday, March 21 and Sunday, September 21, when it concludes with the VFL Grand Final. Here is your guide to watching every game on TV, or live streaming state league Aussie Rules online.

Most rounds of the VFL season will see 10 matches played, with one club having a bye. They are generally split into one Friday, six on Saturday and three on Sunday, although there can be differences from time to time.
Under the terms of the VFL TV deal, all nine games are available to be viewed on a live stream online, while Saturday night fixtures will be broadcast on Channel 7. You can scroll down to the bottom of this article to see which games are coming up this weekend.
How to watch the VFL on TV in Australia
VFL broadcast partner Channel 7 will show a weekly game plus finals, live and free on 7 in Victoria and 7Plus nationally. Fans can catch up from anywhere around the nation on 7plus.
Channel 7 can be found on digital TV at Channel 70 in high definition and 71 in standard definition, while it can be found on Foxtel at Channel 107. Some states may broadcast the game on 7Mate or 7Two, and Zero Hangerย suggests checking your local guides to confirm which channel the game will be broadcast on.
How to live stream the VFL online
If you're looking to live stream the VFL, then there are a number of options available to you.
Allย VFL matches will be live-streamed free onย AFL.com.au and the AFL Live Official App. You will be able to visit afl.com.auย and follow the links. All matches will be available to watch on-demand.
Those games broadcast on Channel 7 will enable you to live stream the match for free through the network's own live stream platform, known as 7plus. Signing up with a valid account and login details will suffice to live stream matches for free through this platform.
