St Kilda's Corey Enright and Geelong's James Rahilly are more than open to receive a call from Carlton powerbrokers about the vacant senior coaching position following Michael Voss' resignation.

The Blues are once again on the search for a senior coach, and more than 10 names have already been floated as potential candidates.

A mix of experienced campaigners and untried assistants vying for the top job, both Enright and Rahilly won't shy away from the process if they are to be considered by the Ikon Park club.

“No, I haven't (been contacted),” Saints assistant Enright said on SEN.

“Obviously, it's something that has been quite topical this week.

“It's something that you know is going on in the background, but I'm quite focused on trying to get the St Kilda footy club to where we want to get to, and that's ultimately playing more consistent football and winning more games.

“I have been coaching for quite a while now, and I feel like I'm continually learning and improving myself as a coach.

“It's really important that I continue to focus on what I need to do, and that is making the St Kilda Football Club into a better place.

“We've done a lot of work. This is my fifth year at St Kilda, I've seen a lot of change and a lot of improvement and progression, and I want to see that continue on.”

Rahilly mirrored Enright's stance, saying that he's always looking forward at opportunities.

“I would always speak to them,” Rahilly said on SEN.

“In any role, whether it's assistant coaching or senior coaching or management, you'd always look to see if that was a good fit for you.

“No one has contacted me as yet, I can tell you that. But you're always looking at what's on the horizon.”

Rahilly has been with the Cats, under Chris Scott, since the beginning of 2024 as a forwards coach.

However, it is not the first time one of Scott's sidemen has been linked with a job at a rival club.

Steven King went through the process last year, and was announced as Melbourne's senior coach as Geelong made the grand final.

The Cats, in a brilliant piece of business, lured Nathan Buckley out of retirement, and is still linked with Tasmania's vacancy.

“Scotty has always pushed that,” Rahilly said.

“That's happened in the past. We experienced it with Kingy going through the finals last year when he actually got the job. We were rapt he continued to coach.

“Scotty is very supportive.”
