Former Essendon and St Kilda defender Jake Carlisle has been caught up in an alleged second violent act in a local football game in 2026.
The 34-year-old will front the Riddell District League tribunal after he allegedly jumped a fence mid-game during a final at the weekend between Carlisle's Wallan and Kyneton Football Club.
It is alleged that Carlisle was being abused by opposition supporters before he jumped the fence and allegedly slapped the culprit.
This is the second strange and violent incident Carlisle has found himself in at local level this season after he left Murray League club Moama mid-year following an alleged punch on during a game with a teammate.
Carlisle had signed at Moama as a player-coach for the season, before vision of him striking a teammate in game appeared on social media in April.

The length of suspension for Carlisle's latest indiscretion is not yet known.
The Riddell District League said it was aware of the incident but not willing to comment further as it went through the league's tribunal process.
Wallan and Kyneton's match was incredible for more than just the Carlisle incident as the Magpies overcame a 34-point deficit with 13 minutes remaining to book a spot in a preliminary final this weekend. An effort regarded as the best comeback in the club's history.
Carlisle, who was in Wallan's best, is understandably unlikely to feature in the club's next final.
