As Brownlow night awaits on Monday, we've broken down the best performances of 2023 that would likely see a player earn three votes from the umpires.
Using data from the Zero Hanger 2023 MVP Award, we've collated the performances given unanimous votes from our four judges.
Players were awarded votes in a 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 system throughout the year. Those given five votes are listed as likely three-vote getters in the Brownlow.
This year's Zero Hanger MVP was Marcus Bontempelli. The Bulldogs skipper finished with six 20-vote games, two more than last year's winner Patrick Cripps who finished with four.
Interestingly, Port Adelaide maiden All-Australian Zak Butters also had six 20-vote games whilst early Brownlow favourite Nick Daicos finished with four but was obviously struck down by injury with three regular-season games remaining.
