2. 19 - Tom Green

Since his debut we have seen Tom Green rise rampantly up the midfielder rankings, building from 15 disposals per game to 20, to 24, to 32; he has quickly reached the statistical summit of AFL ball-winners.

16 Brownlow votes in 2023 suggests he may be a couple of years's away from achieving that level of individual honour, but in a side that is suddenly pushing for premiership contention, he is clearly the No.1 midfielder at GWS, and may be for the next decade.

He is a Patrick Cripps prototype with slightly more flash but slightly less grunt, though with another couple of years and 50-odd more games of experience, why can't he surpass the Brownlow medallist?
