1. 20 - Taylor Walker

Few players have turned a corner in the twilight of their playing career the way 'Tex' has done within the last 24 months.

Last year's key forward crown was a two-man race the entire season, while Nick Larkey performed phenomenally in that North Melbourne side, but it was a 33-year-old Taylor Walker against a 26-year-old Charlie Curnow in the peak of his physical prime.

The man booted 76 goals from 22 games and collected 16 Brownlow votes; only once before had he reached 60 majors in a season during a deep Adelaide finals run in 2012.

It could be dangerous betting against Walker in a year with much to prove, even as he hits his mid-30s, we'll play it safe keeping him in the top 20.
