Opening Round is etching ever closer as we hit the second half of our top 50 players list of 2024. This week we're looking through spots 30-21.

Rather than naming the best performers of 2023 or the top players entering Opening Round, this list will look at the best players currently with some projections as to how they may rank at the end of the year.

Many established stars made the cut in our last edition but may have been ranked lower than expected.

As we reach the cream of the crop in the top 30, the scope of talent in our league becomes glaringly apparent, with a host of top tier All-Australians and even Brownlow contenders featuring outside the top 20.

1. 30 - Touk Miller

Miller's absence for much of last season unfortunately drops his ranking well out of top 10 status where he could've been after his Champion Player of the Year-winning campaign in 2022.

With a full pre-season and hopefully no major injuries to manage throughout the year, Miller is a safe bet to rise back into All-Australian contention under the fresh eyes of new coach Damien Hardwick and a rejuvenated Suns squad.

Miller did enough through 2021-2022 to prove that he is an A-grade midfield talent in our competition, putting up prolific numbers in '21 before increasing his efficiency and impact to become one of the best stoppage players in the league with slightly fewer disposals in '22.

His work ethic and professionalism is well-documented and raise the expectations that he won't miss a beat come Opening Round 2024.
