Port Adelaide forward Steven Motlop is set to be rewarded with a new one-year deal at Alberton Oval.

The veteran joins mid-season draftee Jed McEntee in being among the players at the Power yet to officially re-sign for 2022.

Motlop has played 68 games for Port Adelaide since moving to South Australia from Geelong at the end of the 2017 season, having now amassed 203 career games.

That tally is now set to be extended, with The Advertiser's Simeon Thomas-Wilson reporting Motlop has inked an extension with Port Adelaide for the next 12 months.

That deal will see the Wanderers product enter a 14th year in the AFL, having first joined the Cats in 2008 via the National Draft, playing 135 games and booting 175 goals in his time at Kardinia Park.

Motlop's re-signing is the latest off-season list call at the Power, with trio Robbie Gray, Riley Bonner and Martin Frederick also recently signing new deals, with the latter one of seven players to gain a promotion to a primary list spot for 2022.

The Power did not offer new deals to Hamish Hartlett, Jarrod Lienert, Boyd Woodcock, Joel Garner, Tyson Goldsack and Trent Burgoyne for next year, while Tom Rockliff announced his retirement from the game.

Utility Sam Mayes was also delisted by Port Adelaide, however the 27-year-old will be re-selected at the upcoming Rookie Draft.

Burgoyne's departure will be met with the inclusion of his younger brother Jase, who has nominated as a father-son selection ahead of this month's National Draft.

The Power currently holds Picks 12, 63, 73, 74 and 92 for the draft.
