Nick Daicos may have put too much breathing room between himself and the field in the race to be crowned the Zero Hanger MVP.
Another best on ground performance from the 23-year-old Magpie in his side's stirring win over the Gold Coast Suns means, on a weekend where the other two members of the podium failed to poll, the gap from Daicos to second is now 37 votes.
The son of the Macedonian Marvel was one of six players to garner 20 votes for their performances in Round 17.
Seven goals to Giant Jake Stringer and six to Swan Charlie Curnow were rewarded appropriately, while Blue George Hewett and Crow Jordan Dawson also yielded maximum votes for their roles in key wins for their sides.
Rounding out the maximum vote-getters is Brisbane's in-demand free agent Zac Bailey, who had 20 disposals and three goals - a statline instrumental in setting up his side's victory over rivals Geelong.
