Joe Daniher

It's no secret the former Bombers star will be one of the most watched this year, with the key questions surrounding his fitness.

Speaking to media in the club's return to training, Lions captain Dayne Zorko said Daniher was tracking well and fitting into the club effortlessly.

"Since the season finished Joe actually stayed up here … so he's been around the group for the past three months and training with them and has fitted in absolutely seamlessly," Zorko said.

"At the moment he looks really fit and healthy and hopefully we can keep him that way.

"He's fitted his lifestyle really well.
