Carlton

Zac Fisher

The Blues goal-sneak endured a tough start to his 2020 campaign after missing nine straight games in the first-half of the season, but won his place back in the 22 after being one of Carlton's best threats moving forward.

Fast-track to this off-season and the 22-year-old has looked to add size and strength to his bow and is hoping to have a greater impact on the scoreboard.

Carlton assistant coach Dale Amos told AFL.com.au that Fisher was one of several young players impressing in the early stages of the pre-season.

"All the group has been in really good shape, and it's probably just the progression of guys like [Will] Setterfield, [Sam] Walsh, [Jacob] Weitering, [Zac] Fisher and that group who are now at the stage where they're going to be our most influential players moving forward," Amos said.

"That group that has been in the system a few years now and now look like they're going to take the next step and really guide the club forward."
