Many greats have towered over others in their dominance of the game across the decades of the AFL's history. Their lumbering presence has thrilled fans and, at times, dictated the outcome of games just by their massive presence alone.

With so few "giants" out there in the AFL landscape, how would you rank them amongst each other to find out who truly towers over all as the all-time greatest tall to ever play the game?

Here's my ranking of the top 10 tall players to ever play the game. The criteria for the list is simple: to qualify, a player must be 205cm and over.

Report: Suns knocked back Goldstein offer

Not many ruckmen across the AFL's history can say they've been in a leadership group for multiple years, with Witts helping usher in a young Suns team as the club's co-captain for five years. During this time, the Gold Coast ruck was a prominent force of composure and consistency through being one of the best tap rucks in the league. Averaging 45 hitouts, 14.5 disposal, five clearances per game, the season helped him get the best and fairest for the Suns in 2019 before being named co-captain.
