Port Adelaide midfielder Jason Horne-Francis will miss the club's final match of the season after breaking his toe during his side's heavy loss to Melbourne on the weekend.
The Power play Essendon as curtains are called on their first season under Josh Carr's watchful, and at times, combative, eye.
Horne-Francis' absence, coupled with injuries to the likes of Esava Ratugolea, Aliir Aliir, Zak Butters, Connor Rozee and others, makes the club's search for its seventh and final victory of the season that much more a daunting proposition.

The first overall pick from the 2021 National Draft enjoyed a breakout campaign this year, thanks in part to the responsibility afforded him in the absence of the aforementioned needle movers.
A broken toe has ended Jason Horne-Francis' year, while Essendon has also lost Sam Durham for the season-ending clash.
