It's official, Tigers fans: Richmond veteran Tom Lynch will play on into the 2027 season after re-signing, extending his career into a 17th season, while young gun and former Pick 1 selection Sam Lalor joins Harry Armstrong in penning a new deal, with both now signed through to the end of 2029.
Lynch will remain at Punt Road as Richmond continues its rebuild under coach Adem Yze.
Richmond Executive General Manager of Football Talent, Blair Hartley, commented on the premiership veteran.
“We are a better team with Tom in it, and he sets great standards and will continue to play an important role in the development of the young talls in our forward line," Hartley said.
“To play into a 17th season at the highest level is an incredible achievement and a credit to him."
Lalor and Armstrong join fellow 2024 draft class members Taj Hotton and Jonty Faull in penning deals until the end of 2029.
Lalor was Richmond's No.1 pick at the 2024 AFL Draft, while Armstrong was taken with Pick 23 and has played 12 games across two years, with injuries limiting his availability.

Lynch joined Richmond as a restricted free agent from the Gold Coast Suns in October 2018. He has since played a key role in the Tigers' premiership era, including their 2019 and 2020 flags.
Lynch recently played his 250th game, with the 33-year-old scoring a goal and six disposals.
Richmond recently farewelled two premiership stars, Nathan Broad and Dion Prestia, playing their final game for the club against St Kilda.
