Collingwood forward Jamie Elliott has re-signed with Collingwood on a one-year deal, according to The Age.

Elliott missed the entire 2018 season with hamstring and ankle injuries and also missed the entirety of the 2016 season with a back complaint.

Prior to that Elliott kicked 30 goals or more in 2013, 2014 and 2015 and is a two-time winner of Collingwood's goalkicking award.

The Pie has played 89 games since being acquired by Collingwood in 2011, kicking 138 goals in that period.

Elliott missed last year's pre-season with an ankle complaint that required surgery before his hamstring troubled him in the home and away season.

The star forward played a handful of games in the VFL this season, with his year ending after another hamstring injury at the end of July.
