The top-rated players for the upcoming AFL 23 video game have been revealed, with two Demons and a star Lion sharing the top player rating of 94 overall.
Ratings for 50 players have been confirmed, with players rated 89 overall or higher unveiled in an updated list. The initial list, which included some questionable rating comparisons, was revealed at this week's launch for the game, but was dated from October last year.
In the updated list, cover star Christian Petracca is joined by teammate Clayton Oliver and Brisbane gun Lachie Neale in being the top-rated players, while Brownlow Medal winner Patrick Cripps and Western Bulldogs captain Marcus Bontempelli narrowly trail with ratings of 93 overall.
Clubs have also been given overall ratings as a squad, with Collingwood registering the best rating at 87 overall. That rating places Craig McRae's side ahead of Brisbane, Geelong, GWS, Port Adelaide, Richmond and Sydney by the slimmest of margins.
Hawthorn have been given the lowest team rating, coming in at 83 overall, with those ratings revealed at this week's launch for the game.
Both player and team ratings may change prior to AFL 23's release on April 13.
