Port Adelaide pair Mitch Zadow and Balyn O'Brien have each been rewarded with a one-year contract extension through 2027.
The Power duo joined the club ahead of the 2026 season via the SSP and have impressed during their brief time at Alberton.
“Mitch and Balyn have put their best foot forward since training with the club last pre-season,” Port Adelaide list manager Jason Cripps said.
“Both earned an AFL debut this year, and the coaching group were pleased with what they saw. They have shown plenty of promise in their first season as AFL players.
“With another full pre-season ahead, we look forward to seeing what they can produce in 2027.”
Zadow debuted in Round 4 against Richmond this year, and added nine AFL games, including the final six matches of the season.
He averaged six disposals, 1.9 tackles, 1.7 marks and kicked eight goals.
O'Brien first played for the Power in Round 20 against Fremantle, and remained in Josh Carr's side until the completion of the season.
He averaged seven disposals, 1.7 marks and 1.8 tackles.
The contract extensions come shortly after the club confirmed six delistings and midfield star Zak Butters' departure.
Port Adelaide father-son Jackson Mead headlined the delistings, with Will Lorenz, Mani Liddy, Xavier Walsh, Benny Barrett and Jacob Moss joining Mead in being let go from the Power's program.
Butters confirmed his departure and will exercise his free agency rights. The gun on-baller has yet to nominate his preferred club, with Geelong, Western Bulldogs and Richmond all vying for his signature.
