North Melbourne's four new recruits will not only be donning new colours in 2019, but also new jumper numbers.

Former Demon Dom Tyson, Sun Aaron Hall and Ex-Port duo Jared Polec and Jasper Pittard will all wear fresh, new numbers they've never won in the AFL before.

Polec will wear the No.13 on his back after signing a huge five-year deal at the Kangaroos, after wearing No.4 for Brisbane and No.21 for Port Adelaide.

The 26-year old looks set to be North's biggest addition to their 2019 squad, as they seem to be in desperate need of a midfielder with a daring attitude and the ability to back it up.

Polec will follow in the footsteps of North legends in ex-captain John Law (215 matches), dual premiership player Gary Cowton (125) and hard-nut Leigh Adams (104) to have wore the No.13.

Pittard will don the No.17 jersey after his days with the Power saw him in the No.29, with his new number last being worn by Aaron Mullett in 2017.

The No.17 jersey was made famous by Allen Aylett who made 220 appearances for North between 1952-1964, kicked 311 goals and is now apart of the Kangaroos Team of the Century.

Tyson will inherit the No.21 from the delisted Alex Morgan, after wearing No.29 at GWS and No.12 for the Dees.

No.21 is famous for having North's Corey Johns wear the jersey for 157 games, the Roos games record-holder for that particular number.

Hall, the last of the recruits, will have the privilege of wearing No.43 after playing 103 games for the Suns in the No.33.

Sam Gibson was the last Roo to wear the number, playing 130 matches in the jersey, surpassing the previous record of only having 13 games played by someone wearing that number.
