Fremantle have reportedly emerged as an interested suitor for unsigned Collingwood forward Ollie Henry, who looks to be weighing up his future beyond this season.

Henry has become a trade target for rival clubs given his expiring contract at the Magpies and place on the periphery of Craig McRae's side, with Geelong among those already linked to the 20-year-old.

The former first-round pick has managed 25 games in his two seasons at Olympic Park, but remains on the outer of Collingwood's senior side this year despite booting the fourth most goals for the club from his 15 appearances.

The emergence of Ash Johnson has seen Oliver battling for minutes under McRae, seeing his position at the club spark murmurs of a potential exit.

While a return to Geelong, where Henry grew up, could be on the cards, the Dockers are the latest club to be linked to the young forward.

According to SEN WA's Kim Hagdorn, Fremantle are "considering" a move for Henry this off-season.

"I do understand that Fremantle are considering Oliver Henry from Collingwood," Hagdorn said. "He kicked four goals against Fremantle in the wet.

“Fremantle are considering and are in some negotiations to try and lure Ollie Henry away from Collingwood.

“He’s 20, he’s only played 25 games, he’s out of contract at the end of this season."

The Dockers loom as one the busiest clubs this coming trade period, with Henry among several targets for Justin Longmuir's side.

Demons tall Luke Jackson looks destined to don purple in 2023, while pair Jeremy Sharp and Josh Corbett have previously been linked to Cockburn.

But while the list of potential acquisitions grows, so does the number of names potentially considering a move elsewhere at Fremantle.

Blake Acres (Carlton), Rory Lobb (Western Bulldogs), Darcy Tucker (North Melbourne) and Griffin Logue (North Melbourne) are all seen likely to venture to Victoria through the exchange window, while Liam Henry and Lloyd Meek have also been tied to potential moves.

The potential signings of Jackson and Henry would certainly sharpen the teeth of the Dockers' attack, which has been led by the aforementioned Lobb this season.

Corbett is another forward option who has impressed at VFL level this year, while Sharp can offer a service out wide to replace the potential departures of Acres and Tucker.
