Talented St Kilda youngster Alix Tauru is viewed by rival clubs as gettable after struggling to cement his place in Ross Lyon's senior side.
Tauru was a top-10 selection in the 2024 AFL Draft, but has managed just 19 games under Lyon, spending much of his time in the VFL. The 20-year-old has also endured a stint on the sidelines through suspension.
According to a report in The Agenda Setters, the 19-year-old's management is not fond of the Saints, especially after last year's debacle involving Leek Aleer's mooted move to Moorabbin, before the deal was pulled under him.
Tauru has been thrown around in multiple positions, and the uncertainty around his position, compounded by his lack of senior selection, has resulted in rivals considering making a play for the contracted utility.
Tasmania is expected to come hard for Tauru next year ahead of their introduction to the AFL.
St Kilda great Nick Riewoldt refused to label a potential move as a "disaster", pending what the club received in return.
"I think he's a first-rounder," Riewoldt said.
"You paid a first round (to get him). He's two years into his career."
Sticking on the Saints, suspended Sydney star Nick Blakey has become a player of interest.
Blakey is currently sidelined due to the ongoing investigation into the Pullman Hotel scandal, with his future at the Swans, and in the AFL, uncertain.
St Kilda is among the clubs to ask the question of the 'Lizard', who is keen for a fresh start after a breakdown in the relationship between the rebounding defender and the Swans.

Sydney's footy boss Leon Cameron vehemently denied the reports of Blakey's desire to be traded.
"Nick hasn't spoken a word of this," Cameron said on 3AW last week.
"Nick is contracted. He's got a five-year contract, and so that's real.
"Equally, I check in with the five guys - they're five good lads, I check in with them regularly. There's always going to be speculation (when) clubs go through a significant crisis, like we have gone through in the last two and a half weeks, but it's all speculation. Nick is contracted, and so are all the other guys as well.
"We'll work through what everything looks like when our season finishes, but I don't get tied up in that too much."
Western Bulldogs defender Rory Lobb has been linked to the Saints, while Geelong's Sam De Koning is another player of interest, with St Kilda wanting to unite him with his brother, Tom.
Ruckman Rowan Marshall has requested a trade for the second year in a row, with the Cats looming as the likely destination.
