Sydney onnballer, Zak Jones, has become an integral part of the Swans' midfielder group this season. His stocks have risen so much, he is reportedly being chased by as many as four Victorian clubs.
Jones, the younger brother of Melbourne co-captain, Nathan, has averaged 21 disposals and three tackles this year and has played every game so far this season.
Reports emerged last month that St Kilda and North Melbourne were keeping a close eye on the 22-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of this season.
North is currently chasing Dustin Martin and Josh Kelly and is understood to have salary cap room to sign both players. However, with Martin seen as less likely to join the Roos than Kelly, Jones is also considered a viable option.
Two more clubs have now been added to the mix, with FoxSports reporting Essendon and Melbourne are also interested in the Dandenong Stingrays product.
Jones has played both in the midfield and off half-back this season and is highly sought after due to his line-breaking ability and his toughness and fierce competitiveness around the contest.
He was recruited with pick No.15 in the 2013 National Draft and has played 40ย games for the Swans.
