The Blues have been up and down so far this season, and there is no doubt that despite their efforts in the trade period, still need to strengthen some positions.

We continue our ‘Five trade targets for every club’ series with Carlton. The idea of these stories is to identify potentially gettable targets who could fill roles, not just link every club to the likes of Marcus Bontempelli and Patrick Cripps.

FIVE TRADE TARGETS FOR: Adelaide Crows, Brisbane Lions

With that, here are some players which will help elevate Carlton back to the top after so many years of heartache.

So in no particular order, here is it – five players we think Carlton should have on their hit list.

2. Harry Perryman

Perryman has been a regular in the GWS side for a few years now, appearing 52 times at AFL level as well as featuring in their 2019 Grand Final side. His quality and class on the wing makes him a very solid prospect, with the Blues seemingly unable to get their wingmen to click as well as they would have hoped.

Despite being a New South Wales native, Perryman would be ideal for David Teague's side and is off-contract at the end of 2022. If Carlton were keen on him, then it would be wise for them to get on the phones now and start putting in the leg work to bring the 24-year-old to Ikon Park.
