The Brisbane Lions and Collingwood Magpies have agreed to a swap of draft selections.
The Lions have traded Picks 45 and 56 to the Magpies in exchange for Pick 59 and a future third-rounder, which is tied to Melbourne.
The Pies acquired the Demons' 2026 third rounder in the recent Brody Mihocek deal, and this pick swap allows talks for them to land a potential successor in Sydney forward Jack Buller to progress.
The Swans are reportedly seeking late picks in the draft, strengthening their points balance to match bids on a promising crop of Academy prospects, which includes Lachy Carmichael.
Sydney's early draft picks are wrapped up in a rumoured package that has been offered to Carlton in exchange for the services of dual Coleman medallist, and wantaway spearhead, Charlie Curnow.
Trade approved.
Brisbane trade 2025 Round Three Pick 45 and 2025 Round Three Pick 56 to Collingwood for 2025 Round Three Pick 59 and 2026 Round Three selection (tied to Melbourne) in the respective Telstra AFL Drafts.
