Former St Kilda and North Melbourne midfielder Nick Dal Santo believes the Tigers will finish the season as minor premiers, while Carlton won't win another game in 2018.

Speaking to Andy Maher on SEN Afternoons, Dal Santo predicted the final standings of the 2018 season, and made some interesting decisions on his final ladder.

Dal Santo has the Blues losing their final 11 games, despite playing Fremantle twice, Brisbane, St Kilda and Gold Coast.

The Bulldogs will go 2-9 over their final 11 games according to Dal Santo, while Geelong and Hawthorn will battle it out for the final spot in the eight, with the two sides to finish on 13 wins.

Richmond will lose just twice more this season and host Sydney at the MCG in a qualifying final, while Melbourne will visit the Eagles at Optus Stadium in the other top four clash.

North Melbourne will host Geelong in an elimination final, while the Showdown will arguably take centre stage in the first week, given the two sides would play to stay in the competition.
