Top five AFL Draft prospect Arki Butler has suffered a left collarbone injury in the Under-18s National Championships, ending his day early.
The Sandringham Dragons star copped shoulder contact late in the second quarter of Vic Metro's clash with South Australia.
He was in visible pain but took a free kick before favouring his left collarbone as play continued.
He did not re-emerge after half-time and was seen with his arm in a sling. The top-five prospect was unable to play out the game.
He had eight disposals, one goal and one goal assist in a brilliant first half where he showed his credentials as a bona fide prospect.
He has had a strong start to his Under-18s National Championships after brilliant form at Talent League level for Sandringham and school level for Brighton Grammar.
