The AFL and its Players' Association have will reveal a 22under22 Team of the Decade this year to celebrate 10 years since the first fan-voted side.

Able to choose from almost 150 players, all of which have been named in at least one 22under22 side since 2013, footy fans can vote for their preferred side.

Brownlow Medal winners Dustin Martin, Patrick Cripps, Nat Fyfe, Ollie Wines and Lachie Neale are among the leading names eligible to be selected, while Western Bulldogs captain Marcus Bontempelli is likely to be favoured in a majority of teams after gaining the most 22under22 selections with five.

The Bulldogs midfielder was named in the side every year from 2014 to 2018, acting as the only player to be selected in five or more teams.

Teammate Aaron Naughton, Carlton's Sam Walsh and former No.1 pick Andrew McGrath have each been named in the side four times.

The fan with the best-matched side to the final 22under22 side will win an assortment of prizes from the AFLPA.
