Young forward, Isabel Huntington has been taken with the No.1 pick in the AFLW Draft by the Western Bulldogs.
The 18-year-old is a versatile prospect and can also be used in the midfield. She overcome a broken leg in 2015 and an ACL injury last year, to top the class of 2017.
"It's a massive honour. I would have been happy to go anywhere, any pick," she said.
"It doesn't really matter when you get into the club, whether you're one or 100, but I'm pretty honoured they think of me that highly and I'm just excited to get started."
As was the case last season, there were plenty of dual sport selections.
The Dogs snared Monique Conti at No.4, who also plays in the WNBL with the Melbourne Boomers.
GWS then drafted Jodie Hicks at No.5, who also plays for the Sydney Sixers in the WBBL, while the Demons recruited Tegan Cunningham at No.22, also from the Melbourne Boomers.
Meanwhile, ex-Perth Glory goalkeeper Evangeline Gooch (Fremantle, pick 10) and former Adelaide United captain Marijana Rajcic (Crows, 32) were also picked up.
