Game-changing Fremantle small forward Isaiah Dudley absorbed a huge tackle from Essendon utility Xavier Duursma in the seconds preceding half-time in the clash of diametrically opposed sides on Sunday afternoon.

Dudley was helped from the ground by a pair of trainers following the collision, with the game's shortest goalsneak unable to bear weight on his legs. Dudley's head appeared to be hit by Duursma in the initial tackle, before making contact with the damp MCG surface. Both of these hits necessitate a concussion test, with the results to be communicated in due time.

Duursma may come under MRO scrutiny for the hit, with those findings to be communicated on Monday afternoon.

Elsewhere in the contest, Patrick Voss is taking full advantage of a poor Bombers' backline, slotting four majors in the second quarter alone to taunt the side who he once represented in the reserves competition.

Never one to shun the spotlight, Voss has celebrated each of the majors, drawing the ire of long-suffering Essendon supporters.

Fremantle are flexing their considerable advantage, leading by more than 50 points at the main change.
