West Coast will challenge Harley Reid's two-game suspension from the rough conduct charge in Sunday's loss to Hawthorn.
Reid was sanctioned for a dangerous tackle on Hawks midfielder Jai Newcombe. The Match Review Officer (MRO) graded the incident as Careless Conduct, High Impact and High Contact, constituting a fortnight layoff.
If the Eagles are unsuccessful, the former Pick 1 will be unavailable for selection in the opening two rounds of the 2027 season.
Reid and his club have one lever to pull in the hopes of minimising the sanction - that being that Newcombe had both hands free to brace himself for contact with the ground as Reid only had the Hawthorn co-captain's jumper in his clutches.
It's the latest disciplinary measure to be taken against Reid this season, who leads the competition in free kicks against for players to feature more than once, after conceding three per game.
The Eagles will also challenge Brandon Starcevich's $1500 fine for Careless Contact with an Umpire in the second quarter via written submission.
If the club is unsuccessful, they will be subject to a $20,000 penalty for committing five careless contact with an umpire offences.
Bo Allan has accepted a $1000 fine for Other Misconduct from the Hawks clash.
