West Coast has opted against offering young duo Harry Barnett and Harvey Johnston new contracts for the 2027 season.
The pair of delistings comes just days after the Eagles saw an end to their 2026 campaign, which involved eight appearances from Johnston.
The Victorian played a total of 14 games across three years in the royal blue and gold, making his debut in 2024 against Essendon.
Barnett was drafted to West Coast out of South Australia in 2022 and would manage a pair of AFL appearances during his time in Perth, debuting in 2023 and playing once more the following season.
Eagles list boss Matt Clarke thanked both players for their time with the club.
“Harry and Harvey have been committed and popular members of our playing group and we thank them for their contributions to our Club,” Clarke said in a club statement.
“They are both quality young men and we wish them every success in the future.”
The pair of departures make up the first wave of confirmed list changes at Lathlain Park, with the Eagles expected to make more given their long list of off-contract players.
That group includes Tyler Brockman, Thomas Cole, Jamie Cripps, Matthew Flynn, Oliver Francou, Clay Hall, Marcus Herbert, Noah Long, Finlay Macrae, Jacob Newton, Deven Robertson, Fred Rodriguez, Harry Schoenberg and Jack Williams.
