Former Gold Coast Suns Captain Touk Miller has has made a call on his future, extending his contract with the club until 2030.
The 30-year-old was already locked in until 2027 but has now committed for a further three years in the red, gold and blue.
He has played every game possible for the Suns this season, proving his consistency in 2026, averaging 25 disposals to boot.
The two-time Suns club champion says he's looking forward to playing his part in helping the club achieve achieve its inaugural flag.
“It's the people at this club that made the decision a simple one. I have a great connection here, particularly with the playing group, and I believe that we've got something building that's really special, Miller said.
“I'm borderline part of the furniture and I love every single person that comes through the door. I'm blessed every day that I get an opportunity to be inside these four walls and be part of the first for everything for this club.
“I think we've learned a lot of lessons as a club this season. What we've been able to accomplish dealing with some adversity this year will be important for us going forward.
“This is group is dedicated to what we want to achieve and that's to win our first premiership. The reason you play footy is to win flags and play finals, so I'm looking forward to playing my part in making that happen.”
Miller's extension puts him in the fram to become the first Suns player to reach 250 games for the club and the Gold Coast Suns list boss Kall Burns believes he has been an integral part of the club.
“Touk epitomises what it means to be a Gold Coast Suns player and we're thrilled to see him commit to our club for an additional three seasons," Burns said.
“As a leader, Touk has been an integral part of our club for more than a decade, and now importantly, he will continue to play a key role in shaping our club in the years ahead.”
Miller won All-Australian honours in both 2021 and 2022, was the 2022 AFLCA Champion Player of the Year, and is the latest Sun to sign a multi-year extension alongside Bailey Humphrey, Jed Walter and Jarrod Witts.
