Richmond trio Shaun Grigg, Bachar Houli and Oleg Markov have signed contract extensions, as the Tigers gear up for a home preliminary final.

Grigg and Houli, who were both involved in the Tigers’ premiership side last year, have penned one-year deals, while Markov has re-committed for two years.

Richmond General Manager – Football, Neil Balme, spoke to the club’s website about the re-signings, and was thrilled the club could keep the trio around beyond 2018.

“We’re really pleased that Shaun, Bachar and Oleg will continue their football journeys with Richmond, they’re fantastic players and people,” Balme told

“Oleg is an exciting young talent and we’re really happy with how he’s tracking. We’re looking forward to seeing him continue his development next season and beyond.

“Bachar and Shaun provide such great experience and leadership for us in addition to their on-field contributions, so we’re rapt they’ve signed on for next season.”
