Many greats have towered over others in their dominance of the game across the decades of the AFL's history. Their lumbering presence has thrilled fans and, at times, dictated the outcome of games just by their massive presence alone.
With so few "giants" out there in the AFL landscape, how would you rank them amongst each other to find out who truly towers over all as the all-time greatest tall to ever play the game?
Here's my ranking of the top 10 tall players to ever play the game. The criteria for the list is simple: to qualify, a player must be 205cm and over.
9Sam Darcy (208cm)
While not having a lucrative or long career thus far in comparison to some of the other players on the list, the son of Western Bulldogs great Luke Darcy has already made a huge impression in the league after only 50 games.
Darcy is a dominant force in marking and goal-kicking prowess, with few teams having the answer to stop him in games despite the number of bodies and different looks they throw at him.
