North Melbourne and Alastair Clarkson have parted ways after four seasons together, even with one year remaining on his deal.

Clarkson returned to Arden Street ahead of 2023, and coached the club on 82 occasions for 20 wins.

Surprisingly, the Kangaroos rose from consecutive three-win seasons to nine this year, and were closing in on a Wildcard Round slot, but fell short.

Here are 13 names who could be a part of the North Melbourne conversation...

Interestingly, a lot of these names were part of the Carlton and Essendon coaching process.

James Rahilly

Another Geelong assistant who has been around the mark for multiple coaching positions.

Rahilly was the Cats VFL coach in 2008 after an eight-year playing career at Kardinia Park, and then was elevated into Chris Scott's staff three years later.

He spent time at Adelaide as the forward line coach before returning to Geelong in the same role at the end of 2023.
