Essendon and Brad Scott has parted ways after a terrible start to 2026, with only one win from 11 starts.

The Bombers were largely uncompetitive, and despite injury concerns during the Dreamtime at the G clash against Richmond, the loss proved to great for Scott to remain in his job.

His playing career is among the greatest, featuring for Essendon 253 times as a two-time premiership player, Brownlow Medallist, five-time All-Australian and five-time best and fairest winner.
