Former West Coast onballer Harry Schoenberg will return to South Australia for next year, signing with his former SANFL side Woodville-West Torrens for the 2027 season.
Schoenberg recently departed West Coast after one season with the Perth powerhouse, playing five games at AFL level and a further 11 for the Eagles' reserves.
The quintet of appearances under Andrew McQualter added to 62 games Schoenberg played for Adelaide between 2020 and 2025 before he was delisted by the Crows 12 months ago.
The midfielder will now head back to his home state to continue his football career, reuniting with Woodville-West Torrens.
"The Woodville West Torrens Football Club is delighted to announce that Harry Schoenberg will return to the Eagles in 2027, following 7 years in the AFL," a club statement read.
"A 2018 U18s Premiership player at our Club, Harry was selected at Pick No. 24 in the 2019 AFL National Draft by the Adelaide Crows, going on to play 62 games and kicking 22 goals, plus a further 5 games and 1 goal with the West Coast Eagles in 2026.
"Harry is set to boost our midfield options for season 2027."
Schoenberg's signing comes after the SANFL club locked in the signatures of new recruits Rome Burgoyne (Port Adelaide SANFL) and Reeve Simmons (GWS VFL) for next year. The Eagles announced the re-signings of key players James Rowe, Sam Rowland, Ted Clohesy, Ethan Grace, Connor Ballenden and Jordan Moore in recent days.
