GWS Giants coach Leon Cameron has doubled down on his choice to park contract talks until the end of the year, labelling it a "mature decision by club and coach".
Fresh off a 26-point win against fellow expansion club Gold Coast Suns, which was his 100th win as GWS head coach, Cameron said this year's results will seemingly decide his future at the club.
"I just want to make sure club and coach are really sure about the future," Cameron said when speaking at a media conference on Wednesday morning.

"And when youโve been here for ... you know ... Iโm ten years at the footy club now, sometimes you can jump visions. The club and myself had a good conversation a couple times just before the start of the season.
"Instead of worrying about it at the half-way mark, (having it) depend on win-loss and all this speculation thatโs going on (and) the coach is soon out of contract...
"Let's park it until the end of the year and have a real mature discussion at the end of the year and make that strong decision."

Now in his ninth year at the helm, Cameron has guided the Giants to five finals series - including a grand final.
However, despite an impressive resume to date, several media commentators have questioned his future at the club.
"That doesnโt bother me", Cameron continued when asked at Wednesday's media conference about the white noise surrounding his contract.
"Clearly thereโs going to be some challenging weeks. You're not going to win every game.
"We know that there will be speculation, that's always going to be there and it's heightened when you lose.
"It is what it is - Iโve been dealing for that for a number of years. In this job youโve got to deal with what comes your way in terms of that scrutiny."

The decision to delay contract talks was said to be made before the season, but was announced following the Giants' first win last Saturday in round three.
The Giants sit at 1-2 after three rounds, with the chance to even the ledger against Fremantle this Saturday night in the west.
Cameron said his side are "under no illusions of the magnitude of the game we play this week".
