Chloe Molloy's record-breaking 28-goal campaign in 2026 has etched her name into the AFLW history books, but the Sydney star's achievement alongside Charlie Curnow's Coleman Medal-winning season has also delivered a rare piece of history.
For just the second time - since the AFLW's was introduced - a pair of players from the same club have won the goal-kicking awards in the respective leagues.
Molloy slotted four majors against Fremantle on Sunday to secure the AFLW award, whilst also eclipsing last year's winner and Port Adelaide gun Indy Tahau.
Curnow's first season in the red and white also yielded many highlights, including 69 goals during the home-and-away season.
The only other time this occurred was in 2021, when Carlton duo Darcy Vescio (16 goals) and Harry McKay (58) took home the goal-kicking awards.
