Sydney forward Tom Hanily has signed a contract extension to keep him in the red and white until the end of 2027.
Hanily has made an immediate impact since being taken in last year's Mid-Season Draft with Pick 14, after he was plucked from the Gippsland Power.
The 20-year-old made his debut in Opening Round this year under new coach Dean Cox, and has featured seven times before returning to the VFL.
"I've really enjoyed my time at the club over the past year, so I'm super grateful for this opportunity," Hanily said.
"The club has been welcoming and I've made some good mates here, plus I'm really enjoying my footy, so I'm excited to be staying in red and white."
Swans EGM of Football Leon Cameron is stoked with the progress Hanily has made since joining the club 12 months ago.
"We've been really pleased with Tom's progress in the year he has been at the club," Cameron said.
"His debut in Opening Round was reward for the hard work he put in over his first full pre-season, and he has continued to impress us with his attitude and eagerness to learn.
"We look forward to seeing Tom's development over the next two years."
The positive contract news comes as the club has faltered since making the 2024 grand final, sitting 14th on the ladder with four wins after 12 games.
Cox and his men have lost three of their past four outings, and will take on Richmond on Saturday at the MCG.
