Sydney chief executive Matthew Pavlich has reiterated his apologies to the entire club and its supporters, urging Swans fans to show up on Sunday for the men's and women's double-header at the SCG.
The Swans' premiership hopes in the men's competition were shattered when the club handed down season-ending suspensions to stars Isaac Heeney, Chad Warner and Nick Blakey, while James Jordon and Riley Bice will also be unavailable for selection.
Queries over how the Harbour City club will suit up against North Melbourne on Sunday and for the rest of the year remain.
The AFLW team will be a curtain-raiser to the afternoon clash, hosting Essendon from 12:30pm in what should be an exciting day for the club.
"Keep supporting us. We're sorry we are putting you all through this," Pavlich said at Swans headquarters on Thursday on Fox News.
"It's been a really challenging day for them (supporters), for us, for all our people who we care deeply about.
"We've got two games to look forward to on Sunday, the double-header, and the girls are really excited about their match.
"We're excited to have a huge crowd at the SCG."
The five banned players released a statement following the penalty.
"We are deeply sorry to everyone involved. We know that our behaviour has fallen well short of the standards expected of us and the values of our club," the statement read.
"We know we have let down our partners and families, members, supporters, teammates, the AFLW team, corporate partners and everyone at the club and the wider community.
"We accept the club sanction and apologise for the impact this has had on those involved.
"Our focus will now be on rebuilding trust with the club and the community."
The quintet will not be considered for All-Australian selection, with Heeney, Warner and Blakey likely to have been rewarded with the 2026 honours.
“We've been proud for a long period of time of (the culture). The culture of the footy club, it's taken a big hit. It's taken a big hit,” Longmire said on AFL 360.
“And it will take time for everyone to rebuild the trust in the football club, and I think that's what the intention of everybody in the football club is to do.”
