Greater Western Sydney star Jake Stringer has said he expects Saturday night's game against Adelaide to be his last in orange and charcoal.
The veteran forward is out of contract at the end of the season and after two years at the Giants, he is widely expected to be on the move to a fourth club in 2027.
Stringer is set to play his 250th game this weekend against the Crows and spoke in a press conference on Thursday, making the shock admission about his playing future.

Stringer has been in strong form in 2026, as is the way in a contract season for the power forward.
He has booted 42 goals, including a bag of seven against ladder-leader Fremantle in the club's upset win in Round 17.
When asked about where he wants to play his football next season, Stringer said he wants to head home to Victoria for family reasons.
"I'll probably most likely go back to Melbourne, just for family reasons," Stringer said.
"My dad's been sick throughout this whole year and being away from my two girls back in Melbourne's been challenging. So most likely, it's probably my last game for the Giants.
"I'm just excited for this last game and ... most likely it'll be my last game. But it's one that I'm very grateful for, to be able to play. Absolutely loved my time.
"Definitely feel like I've got quite a few more years left. But I'll just get through this weekend, reassess, spend some time with the family, go back home and work it out from there.
"But there's been no decision or anything like that. I'm just looking forward to finishing it off here, enjoying more time with my teammates who I absolutely love, and go from there."
Collingwood has emerged as a leading contender for Stringer's services.
The 192cm forward has played 249 games for three clubs including the Western Bulldogs (where he won an All-Australian and premiership), Essendon and GWS. He has kicked 434 goals in that time.
