Sydney's banned quintet has broken its silence following Monday morning's incident, which is currently an ongoing investigation by Victoria Police.
The Swans released a five-paragraph statement attributable to Riley Bice, James Jordon, Nick Blakey, Chad Warner, and Isaac Heeney following confirmation that they would not be considered for AFL selection for the rest of the season, nor be in the running for the All-Australian squad.
"We are deeply sorry to everyone involved. We know that our behaviour has fallen well short of the standards expected of us and the values of our Club," the statement read.
"We know we have let down our partners and families, members, supporters, teammates, the AFLW team, corporate partners and everyone at the Club and the wider community.
"We accept the Club sanction and apologise for the impact this has had on those involved.
"Our focus will now be on rebuilding trust with the Club and the community."
The police investigation remains with internal sanction, relating to other team standards they failed to meet by staying out late, with further sanctions not ruled out.
