Key forward and pinch hit ruck Jack Williams was delisted from West Coast mid-way through October, with the move piquing the interest of multiple AFL clubs.
Williams kicked 46 goals across his 54 games at the Eagles after being drafted with Pick 57 in the 2021 National Draft.
The 22-year-old has developed and grown up through one of the harshest rebuilds in recent league history, perhaps stifling his performance. But the 198cm utility, without banging the door down, has shown promise during his five seasons at the club.
His potential has triggered opposition clubs to reach out to Williams to see if he would be interested in a summer trial position, according to AFL Media.
One club Williams has met with is the soon-to-be 19th AFL team Tasmania. The Devils officially enter the league in 2028, but Williams moving to play with Tasmania's VFL team in 2027 could lead to a second chance in the AFL the year after.
Williams lost his spot on West Coast's list after the club signed Milan Murdock in the SSP, Oliver Francou and Marcus Herbert in the MSD and Jack Viney and Trent Rivers in the trade period.
The Eagles' sudden depth of key forwards in Jake Waterman, Jobe Shanahan, Cooper Duff-Tytler and Archer Reid also contributed to Williams' delisting.

So should Williams put faith in Tassie and agree to join their VFL side for a season, or are there other AFL clubs right now who could use a 22-year-old forward-ruck who is just hitting his physical prime?
North Melbourne initially comes to mind, but the Kangaroos are more on the hunt for key defenders.
The Roos might look to find a replacement for fellow former Eagle Jack Darling in the years to come, but they would be banking on the development of Matt Whitlock for that role.
Richmond and Essendon are battling clubs, but both already have a number of young players that they want to find out about as key forwards.
St Kilda could emerge as a landing spot as the Saints consistently need key forward cover to help them while Max King toils away in rehab.
Ross Lyon's side will also need someone who can pinch hit in the ruck next season given Tom De Koning will be a one man band after Rowan Marshall's departure.
Port Adelaide is another side that could come calling. The Power need someone to support Jordon Sweet in the ruck at times and they won't want to risk star Mitch Georgiades or emerging key forward Jack Whitlock in the rigours of a ruck battle.
The Power have shown interest in delisted Saint Isaac Keeler, but Williams is the same age and height as Keeler, while also possessing more experience, better fitness and has shown more promise across his first few seasons at AFL level.
