Star Fremantle forward Jesse Hogan was taken to hospital on Sunday after being involved in a car accident in Perth.

Hogan clipped a parked car in the Perth suburb of Bitcon late Sunday morning which resulted in his car being flipped on its side.

He was the only person involved in the crash.

The 24-year-old was then taken to hospital where he was discharged quickly after getting cleared of serious damage.

Fremantle will give Hogan the day off training on Monday, but he’s expected to be back on the track on Tuesday.

His manager Jason Dover told the Herald Sun that Hogan was "discharged quickly" at the hospital.

“He is fine. He presented to hospital and they were worried about concussion symptoms after a member of the public rang the ambulance, but he was discharged quickly and he has been cleared by the doctors,” Dover said.

The untimely crash on Sunday came after Hogan was making a strong recovery from foot surgery which derailed his 2019 season.

Hogan has resumed running duties, and the car crash isn’t expected to affect his pre-season.
