Recent St Kilda draftee Oscar Adams was reportedly entangled in a car accident early on Saturday morning.

According to reports from Jay Clark of The Herald Sun, the 18-year-old had not sustained any injuries during the crash and the football club was aware of the incident that took place in Western Victoria.

Speaking in the wake of the crash, a St Kilda spokesperson stated that they would be investigating the nature of the accident.
“The St Kilda Football Club is aware of a motor vehicle incident that occurred on the morning of Saturday 5 February involving draftee Oscar Adams,” they offered.

“He is uninjured and with his family at home.

“The club is gathering further information regarding the matter before it determines the appropriate next steps.

“Oscar’s welfare is the primary concern of the club at this point in time.”

With any details beyond this remaining sketchy, it is not yet known whether police are investigating the incident or whether anything below board aided its eventuation.

After a season with SANFL outfit Glenelg in 2021, the Mount Gambier native was brought to Moorabbin with the 51st pick of last year's draft.

Given his light frame, Adams remains unlikely to feature at senior level and is seen as a pillar of the future both at stoppages or behind the ball.
