Dustin Martin's manager has reportedly met with two rival clubs this weekend.

Channel Seven reporter, Mark Stevens, told Sunday's AFL Game Day that Martin's manager, Ralph Carr, met with two Victorian sides in the last two days.

"I can confirm that Carr met with two clubs in the past two days," Stevens said.

"Rival clubs. One on Friday and one on Saturday, so a lot of work going on behind the scenes with Dustin Martin, as you'd expect."

Stevens also indicated Martin will not make a decision on his future until the end of the season, despite CEO Brendon Gale's comments yesterday. Gale said on ABC radio yesterday the club would like an indication on Martin's plans in the next few weeks.

However, Stevens says that will not happen.

"Richmond (is) getting a little bit impatient, they want it to come to a head pretty soon, really, in the next couple of weeks," he said.

"I can confirm that Dusty has indicated end of the year, Ralph Carr the same.

"That won't change. So it will be the end of the year, they won't be rushed."
