Tasmania's entrance to the competition makes the 2027 out-of-contract list an interesting market.

As part of an array of list concessions, the Devils have the capacity to sign up to 18 out-of-contract players - one per club - across 2027 and 2028.

Concurrently, plenty of other clubs will be trying to lure the big names as the annual list build rigmarole takes place. 

We've gone through 10 of the best out-of-contract players still available to clubs at the end of next season.

The Swans superstar recommitted at the start of last year on a two-year extension, taking him through to free agency. A Perth local, he attracted significant rival interest and considered his options, admitting he was 50-50, before putting pen to paper. He would add star power to West Coast's emerging engine room, while Fremantle has also been linked, and while it would be a salary balance, they would undoubtedly jump at the chance to welcome another star midfielder.
