Tasmania's entrance to the competition makes the 2027 out-of-contract list an interesting market.
As part of an array of list concessions, the Devils have the capacity to sign up to 18 out-of-contract players - one per club - across 2027 and 2028.

It's hard to see Ginnivan going anywhere, having repeatedly praised the environment at Hawthorn for getting the best out of him. Having said that, it seemed implausible he would leave Collingwood until it happened. One of the highest IQ players in the league, he is an important connector and front half presence and continues to raise the bar.
